How to achieve 4K high-definition LED display screen

4K is a popular keyword in recent years, and 4K display technology has received much attention. 4K LED display screen refers to a pixel resolution of 3840 × The 2100 high-definition LED display screen has a resolution four times that of a 2K LED display screen. At this resolution, the audience can clearly see every detail and close-up in the display screen, and create an immersive feeling, bringing a different audio-visual feast to the audience. So, how can a regular LED display screen achieve a 4K high-definition LED display screen?

Firstly, improve the resolution of LED display screens. The resolution factor is of great significance for display devices. Generally speaking, under the premise of similar screen sizes, a higher resolution means that the displayed image is more delicate and clear, and the user’s visual experience is stronger. When producing LED display screens, LED display screen manufacturers should pay attention to controlling product quality from the perspective of raw materials, continuously innovating product technology, improving the resolution of LED display screens, and achieving the effect of high-definition LED display screens.
In the Rec.2020 standard, the aspect ratio of a single pixel is 1:1, and pixel addressing is carried out in order from left to right and from top to bottom.
① Ultra high definition 4K: horizontal resolution 3840, vertical resolution 2160, aspect ratio 16:9, total approximately 8.3 million pixels
② Ultra high definition 8K: horizontal resolution 7680, vertical resolution 4320, aspect ratio 16:9, total approximately 33.2 million pixels
Currently, there is no ultra high definition 8K LED display screen in the domestic LED display screen technology.
Secondly, digital quantization. There are two types of quantization levels for ultra high definition LED televisions: integer 10-bit and integer 12-bit, corresponding to ultra high definition 4K and ultra high definition 8K, respectively.
① 10-bit: In a 10 bit binary number (corresponding to decimal numbers 0-1023), the rated black bit is 64, and the rated peak is 940; When black spots overflow, use 4-63 for continuation; When peak overflow occurs, use 941-1019 for continuation; 0~3 and 1020~1023 are used as time reference numbers. The quantified color count is approximately 1.07 billion.
② 12-bit: In a 12 bit binary number (corresponding to decimal numbers 0-4095), the rated black bit is 256, and the rated peak is 3760; When the black bit overflows, use 16-255 for extension; When peak overflow occurs, use 3761-4079 for continuation; 0-15 and 4080-4095 are used as time reference numbers. The quantified color count is approximately 68.7 billion.
Once again, adopt the latest 4K display technology. 4K display technology can help improve the performance of LED display products. LED displays will have higher brightness, brighter colors, higher contrast, and a wider and more comfortable viewing angle. 4K display technology makes LED displays more competitive in the field of display products.

The LED display screen industry is currently conducting in-depth exploration and innovation for 4K display solutions. With the continuous development of LED display screen technology in the future, we believe that in the near future, the era of 8K LED display screen ultra high definition will also come, bringing everyone a new display world. Let’s wait and see together!
